Description: This project was to extend the rear lounge and kitchen. The kitchen-diner had a vaulted ceiling with an exposed king truss. We acheived a real light and airy feel in the lounge by using large folding doors opening up to the garden and including velux rooflights.
The existing gas fire and chimney breast were removed and replaced with an environmentally friendly log burner which could be pivoted to face any direction in the room. Patio and external works were by others.
